Time Out!
People can be very needy at times. 'Needy' is a term that Jules and I use whenever we come across people who are demanding, attention seeking and full of issues that they need to channel it out positively or negatively.
The type of person could be anywhere, anyone; it could be your own mother and or father! Some people become needy as they could not find anything else to channel or vent out their issues. If you have intuition of some kind, you would be able to sense them. They are all out there! If the needy ones are your close friends, how could you help them? There are several ways to help them. Be there for them is one of the best ways. By being there for your friend shows that you care and his/ her friendship means a lot to you. However, you should always remain unattached to their issues. If you get way too emotional about it, You'd unknowingly absorbed their negative vibes and you'd end up being very needy and unstable as them.
If you do get caught in it, then the way to get out of it is to 'cut' the cord. Imagine you and your troubled friend are linked by a cord or a silk thread. Imagine you severing that cord/ thread. By doing so doesn't mean you're giving up on him/ her and not wanting to help her. Rather, you're taking a step back to recharge or observe and see what other ways you can do to help your friend.
It takes a lot of guts to help someone. More so, if the motivation is done with compassion and loving kindness with out any expectations or returns.
