Happy Pride Month!

Pride for this year, 2022; to me is significant. We’ve survived Ms. Rona and her bitchiness, We’ve survived and doing okay, some are thriving. We are blessed that our country is still enjoying peace and we pray for our dear brothers and sisters in Ukraine and Russia, for the insurgency to end and everyone can go home, make love and be a happy family.

This year’s pride celebration, I am taking my celebration a tad personal. I am running in memory of those whose lives lost because of hate crime towards our LGBTQI community and to all marginalised minorities. I run to remind myself that I am alive and I am well, kicking and rocking, celebrating that 50 is the new sexy and being called ‘Daddy’ can be a cute thing. LOL!

I am also grateful, of my life and what I am experiencing today. Many more happy pride months to come and let’s all make our world, more colourful, more inclusive, safe and fill it with LOVE!
