Don't step out of your car...

I have read this on facebook shares and comments. I never had the slightest idea that now it will be my turn to tell the tale, I was nearly car jacked. Yes! You read it right! I was nearly car jacked by 4 Indian thugs... This all happened last Thursday night, I just had a conversation with a close friend and was on my way to MidValley Mall using one of the main road in SEA PARK connecting to the used to be Rothmans round-about.

While turning to Jalan 21/1, after the traffic lights, about 100 meters, i felt a bump from behind, I looked at my rear mirror and a Honda CRV was tail gating me. I just drove on and this time the driver flashed his lights at me. As usual, i pulled my car aside (i was using my brother's mitsubhishi triton) under a street lamp post and got out of the car to inspect the rear... Looked good, I saw this indian guy coming out of the car and approached me asking me how to resolve this, i said to him ok no need and turned back to go back in, i got pulled aside and a scuffle ensued, later i could hear 3 Indian guys came out and I was dragged and thrown to the ground, the indian guy shouted and asked for my car keys, i gave a struggle and i was repetitively punched on the face, on my left hand and on the back.

A few cars passed by and due to this, I assumed that they spent too long with me and I was shouting for help, the made a quick exit and fled the scene. My adrenalin was pumping at that time and I picked myself up, went back into my car and drove to the nearest clinic, Mediviron Clinic opposite the KFC outlet in Sea Park and asked for medical assistance, made a call to my brothers and not long after, they came. Switched cars and my elder brother took me to the Damansara Specialist Hospital for a CT Scan and X-Ray on my affected areas. Once at the hospital, I went to the Men's washroom to ease myself, Obvious I was shaking (due to trauma), I looked at myself at the mirror... Wow, some cuts, bruises and lacerations on my head, face, my back. My left hand was swollen and I had a bad cut at the back of my head.

An ER doctor attended me and did a CT-Scan and X-Ray, CT-Scan showed no visible damage to the brain, X-Ray showed a small crack fracture on the index finger of left hand. I got my treatment, pain killers and antibiotics. Next was to make a police report, While at the police station, I was told that a good 10 minutes before I got assaulted, an Indian middle aged guy was attacked and his Honda CRV was stolen along Jalan Utara (nearby Crystal Crown Hotel PJ), and there were 4 Indian suspects. I guessed I was a random target for these thugs. I was fortunate, the poor sod had a broken arm thanks to the thugs...

So, please don't stop if someone hit your car from the rear, just drive to the nearest police station or a public place with a lot of crowd like a food court or a packed petrol station and ask for assistance. So this is my story and my tale.... Don't step out of your car....
