The weekend of Full Moon, Mother's Day, Burns and Holes in the pocket

Yes. I burnt my right hand on Thursday. Contrary to what Nut had blogged on his weekend roundup, This is my version. I was without ethanol for the past 2 weeks, so this inconvenience has made me to brew my chinese teas straight from the hot thermos flask. I called my local tea supplier to inquire about their new supply of ethanol. Found out that there's stock coming on tuesday. Yippee... so , off I went to Petaling Street and purchased to big bottles. 

Thursday evening, after a hectic schedule of running all over Nilai and Semenyih's Nirvana Memorial Garden for some Feng Shui audits, I decided it was time to enjoy my chinese cuppa. I poured the ethanol into the burner that I use (something like a bunsen burner) to keep my water boiling hot in my clay kettle. Unfortunately, was having a smoke and I jumped when I heard the door bell... Engrossed by my pouring as I do not want to over spill, my ciggie fell off my mouth and it hit the sink, as there were traces of ethanol on the sink itself, it went up in flames; burning the sink, the filter outlet attached to the tap and the bottle of ethanol. 

I scrambled for a wet rag that I was within reach and managed to put down the flames in the sink, but the bottle was burning! So without thinking, I took the cap and tried to close the opening. And that's when I realized my right hand was burning! So it's not that making tea is hazardous for your health and skin.. it's more like stupid me with a ciggie on my mouth and the amber that was the fire-starter for this unusual event. I recalled I forewarned the Nut and all those who are born in the dragon years to becareful of such events. Sigh.. I shld have seen this coming....

Well, Now's it's healing rather well as I've been on a very good health supplement. I will let you guys know about it in my next blog. 

The saturday night was a pig out session for me. I had 2 dinners to attend to.... On friday afternoon, my dear elder brother EL decided to have Mummy's Day dinner on Saturday night. Knowing that this is an important Family affair, I cringed and agreed. At the same time, a Good friend of mine, IC invited me to his son's full moon party. And it was an earlier invite, I had already RSVPed, So I guess I'll tackle 2 dinners at 1 go. At the family dinner, I saw my little niece, she has indeed grown up.. She's looking pretty and prettier each day. The picture below is a CL's 2 daughters, Alyssa on the left and Vanessa on the right. Baby Vannessa is so adorable. 

Took this on saturday afternoon, decided to take a nice spin around in the old parts of PJ and came across this house near my Feng Shui master's area. It's not bad. I'm liking minimalism and industrial design!

This was Friday's happenin at Frangipani. Told Nut that I had an angmoh friend who came into town. Coaxed him to come over to Frangi. H.R.H Nut arrived in royal style, like all royalties of Malaysia. After midnight! Found out that the angmoh twinkie is a tad too sisterly for his taste. oh well, but it was nice to catch up with Nut, ASD and our very own Koala..  :)

H.R.H nut is very shy when it comes to taking pictures. Took this after our pig out on 2 desserts, Mango Cream Pie, Chocolate with walnut cake and Blueberry Cheese. This was after 2 dinners, but then again, I could pig out as I'm on a vegetarian diet. 2 dinners and what I could eat was a morsel of veggies... and some rice. I had  a good fill...

Sunday evening, my wallet's left with RM 100. What happened to the RM 300 ???????
