May day blurries....
This May day was a blur day for me. I woke up later than usual.. (my usual is 7.30 am). As it was a national holiday. Decided to meet up with OSY for a brunch grub. She wanted to go get a ladder and a chime for her doorbell. After our brunch, I swinged by SS 2 and took some shots of these houses. Very nice houses! After buying her ladder, the lighting shops were all closed, so she had to wait for the weekend to make her purchase.
The night on May day was an interesting evening. Took JW and OSY for vegetarian dinner at a place called 'Vegelicious' in Entrepreneur's park in Kuchai. I will review the place another day as I was too blur to take pictures.. (hunger pangs and the growling tummy distraction!)
Nice house in SS2, near the fire brigade
This one is near SS2/ 24
This house below was taken in front of BSC shopping mall. I just love the raw industrial design. Concrete, metal and wood.
On Saturday night, OSY had a party at her new place. It was a bit of pot luck. So I decided to make greek salad for her. Her good pals, L made Duck confetti pasta, with roast duck, the skin (SO YUMMY!), sun dried tomatoes, white button mushrooms, green olives, pine nuts and sun flower seeds. We added more ingredients, it was definitely mouth-watering. The pasta was cooked at her new kitchen. Hahaha, we 'opened' ceremony for her stove.
The salad I made was a simple salad, consisting of Butterhead, the purple and green leafy salads/ lettuce, sandwich ham, feta cheese with spices and olives, french dressing and a squeeze of lemon. XY being a vegetarian, made vegetarian noodles. It was a great dish and very refreshing from the rich pasta. And for dessert, we had a sunshine jelly cake as there were 2 people in the party that were celebrating their birthdays within these few days. It was a very nice cozy affair. I had to leave the party early as I've got a drinking session with my good buddies, VN and KK. VN brought along her new doll, D. Hehehe, she is indeed a pretty petite chinese doll. We were at Boathouse for our drinks and it was nice to have KK after a long hiatus...

The night ended with a good beer and great company. Sunday's coming and I'll see if I want to go to HomeDEC at the KLCC convention centre.
