Appreciating tea, getting cruised at Peter Hoe's and the Koreans are in town!
Today I was up very very early. Like 5.30 in the morning! So what did I do? I tried to get back to sleep, but somehow, the morning call from the mosque nearby broke my sleep and I said to myself, let's bounce off the bed and do yoga... Hmmm... staggered to the bathroom and felt sleepy again after the washing face and brushing teeth thing. . .
Ok so on with yoga, I've not been practicing for a month now, so my poses were not as good as they were. But I did enjoyed the session as I worked up a sweat and later, hit the gym downstairs for a bit of cardio and weight lifting. Had a light breakfast of cereals and milk. Made some Pu Erh tea and I was thinking, hmm about time I called ASD to go and get his stuff at Petaling Street. I called him at about nine-ish. He said cool. I told him I'd come over around ten in the morning. On my way at the Federal Highway, he told me there's a Funeral procession and it has clogged the street his living at, He asked me to wait for him at the LRT station nearby. When I arrived near the LRT station in Asia Jaya, The procession just started, the hearse just got out of his street and there were two traffic police hired by the bereaved family to manage and control the traffic. ASD told me, 'Wah.. good timing ya!'
We went to Petaling Street and had our brunch, after brunch, we hit the herbal tea stall on the cross road of Petaling Street and Jalan Hang Lekir. The air mata kuching stall!, It's such an institution in Petaling St. After that thirst quencher, Took him to a shop that sells Feng Shui cures. He bought himself a lot of stuff, I bought an item for Nut and Booker. Later, I took him to a warehouse selling chinese porcelain and vases. ASD saw some stuff he liked and decided when he's got his pad, he's gonna be on a buying spree in this shop.. The shop owners were happy and told him that he'll get good discount.
Later, we went to a tea shop and were sipping tea away. For the 1st time, I saw ASD enjoying the whole culture thing. He was able to tell the difference between a few variety of teas. ASD liked fragrant tea like Dragon Well (Long Jing, 龍井), Iron Guan Yin (Tie Guan Yin,鐵觀音) and Oxidized Pu Erh (Sheng Pu Erh, 生普耳) He doesn't really like the old Pu erh and other blanded teas... I could tell what kind of a person when he drinks his tea. ASD is well... simply the 'happiest' guy...... ;P
After shopping for tea, he showed me Peter Hoe's shop at Plaza See Hoy Chan in Jalan Tun H.S. Lee. I didn't know there's a huge Peter Hoe's shop over there. So off we went, and when we stepped into the shop, I felt a few pair of eyes were looking at us, gaydar was triggered! Man... it's such a cruisy place! ASD was being cruised.. heheheheh ASD introduced me to Peter as he was there, it's nice shop with everything you could get for your home, under 10,000 square feet. Just felt uneasy being cruised by ang mors and the twinkies there..
After all that commotion, ASD suggested we go to KLCC for coffee, He's meeting S there for a class. I said sure no problem... When we arrived there, all that tea drinking made ASD and I hungry, so we decided to have some sandwiches at O' Brien's on the lower ground floor. Lo! A group of fine looking men in brown naval uniforms passed us. Of course, we both turned around. Gosh.. A tiny South Korean flag patch stitched onto their shirts. Hmmm... The South Korean Navy is in TOWN!!!
It was a TWINKIE fantasy come true for me! As we sat there, waiting for our sandwiches, more hordes of these fine gentlemen came about from no where. They were everywhere within KLCC, smartly dressed and with neat creases on the backs of their shirts, ASD was amazed how well they iron their clothes.. Noted on how their khaki pants accentuated their gluteus maximus... No wonder army guys have nice buns!!!! *gawk!*

What was ASD looking at? just scroll down......
There... a bevy of navy guys... If H.R.H Nut was here, He'd nod and say: 'Utterly Delicious!'
Tried to get ASD to sit still so I could take a pic of these jocks as they go up, but he had to duck, and I became so obvious of taking their pictures, One fella actually gave me a peace!!! well I wouldn't mind showing him around my country and getting a piece of his... ahem... !!!!!!
ASD and I were quite entertained today!!! I left him on his own so he could gawk and admire the rest of them... Heheheh how's your day been???

The risks of getting outted in a deep Confucius rooted society is still a nightmare for those living in South Korea....
And those uniforms are so well fitted!!!!
