Sickish Mum, stress and running around with the Setos......
Mum's illness has yet to recover. She's been coughing for a week now. I've had a personal consultation with a Ba Zi master and used the technique to pin-point the cause of her illness. Apparently, it was a karmic fetter and she has to go through this suffering until end of April. Sigh.... She has this ailment called 'Dry Wind' in Chinese medical term. So under the advice of the master, I've asked her to go to the local 'Sin-Seh' and get the herbs for this ailment.
On a side note, met up with KS and LL today. The Bride and Groom had a quick morning bite at the corner kopitiam across KFC in Taman Tun and we whisked ourselves to the West Lake Garden Chinese Restaurant for a recce. Throughout the whole meeting, both KS & LL were arguing constructively about everything and I could only just sit back and watch the whole drama along with Lenny, the captain. In the end, everything is finalized from the VIP table's linen and chair wraps, sound checks, corsages for the men, a powder room for VIP usage up to the timing of the wedding march for the K & L.
Had lunch at Phoa Hoa with the wed to bes, and at the same time, updated Nut as he was around the corner buying starbucks coffee and dough nuts from Big Apple. Our poor nut was ranting about his office's coffee machine, It broke down and this made the Nut fumed! So, we'll be meeting up at the L's house for another round of meeting to finalize the whole event. Booker's coming, so is ASD, KK, and Manny (K's best man).
Right now, K&L are using my Mac book to finalize the guest list and I'm preparing the talk for which is to be discussed later with the other 2 emcees. I don't even have the time to book my airplane or coach ticket to Spore! ... (Sigh.. I don't even have a place to stay!) Hmm those guys @ Fridae would seem to be a good choice to ask for a bunk for these couple of days' stay in Spore next week... I wondered who would be so kind to put up with me?
